Purpose & Philosophy

- We've been working to improve Charlie-Mike from day one and it doesn't stop here. We're always looking for ways to make things better-er.

- The purpose behind Tactics, Techniques & Procedures is so that we can easily build our way to a similar mindset.

- While things here will be on a basic level, it's more so that you have a starting foundation to improve upon.

- why do we need TTP's? We need it for Teamwork, Efficiency and Consistency.

- If you're ever lost or can't remember something, use this like an easy way to refresh youself.

100 – Basic Infantry Skills

We all started here

  • Gear - Do I have enough ammo to support my team in a Firefight? Do I need to
  • Work with your team to accomplish the small tasks, that build into us winning the conflict.
  • Understand your sector of helping the team. - Where is everyone else covering, and where do you need to be?
  • Spacing - Are you too close to your Teammates? Are you in the proper formation?
  • Cover - Do I need it now? Where is my point of cover if we get engaged?
  • Think Ahead - Basic - What's our team tasked with? One level above - What's our Objective? Top Level - What's our Mission, and how do we accomplish it?
  • It's important that you recognize that every soldier matters. If you're not task focused on what you're supposed to be doing, whether it be security, or moving, we lose one rifle. This quickly leads to a snowball effect.

101 – Movement to Contact

Summary of what this is and when to use it.

  • Fire and movement
  • Use of bounding overwatch
  • Terrain exploitation

102 – Ambush Doctrine

  • Types of ambushes: L-shaped, linear, hasty
  • Kill zones, initiation procedures
